Hand Operatted Stone Grain Grinder An exclusive Ready Reserve item, this sturdy mill grinds wheat, and is especially essential for high volume flour needs. Hand made in the USA, this mill has an adjustable hand crank with three settings. The 12-inch, stamped steel flywheel can also act as a pulley and comes with a grooved circumference accepting a 1/2-inch v-belt should you later decide to motorize the mill, or run it with a bicycle crank. The mill's stainless steel driveshaft runs on a sealed ball bearing for long service and smooth operation. An internal feed auger helps pull the grain into the stones for grinding, and the sloped ramp of the grain hopper lets gravity do its thing as well. Adjusting the stones to produce course to fine flour is done with your finger tips by adjusting wing nuts and no tools are required. Once you lock in the adjustment, the stones can be removed and replaced for cleaning without disturbing the adjustment setting. The Millennium Mill has an eight + cup grain hopper and discharges into a soft Rubbermaid rectangular tub with sealing lid (included with the mill). The mill is free standing and can be bolted to a workbench or clamped down to the kitchen counter with c-clamps. The body is made from 1/2-inch birch plywood and comes with a solid oak base. All exterior screws are counter sunk for a nice exterior finish.
